      Some relationships should never last. I’m a twenty, African-American, Christian female who recently went through my first serious breakup. It needed to be done. Like most people in my shoes, only romcoms and books taught us what to do after a breakup. But, what are the weapons we need to fight off a heartbreak God’s way? That’s the question I’ve been asking my parents, my aunt, my sister, my cousin, my college friend, my Christian small group friends, even my coworkers. The common answer—get a new beau. Nuh-uh.
